Bird center remodeling nearly complete

The Sportsmen’s Migratory Bird Center at Magee Marsh has under gone a remodeling since June of last year.
The renovations are scheduled for completion in April and visitors will see a new look to the building as they walk in the front door, which is framed by large glass windows.
New displays, exhibits, and restrooms have been installed and visitors will have access to the upstairs.
The Friends of Magee Marsh will post an opening date on the group’s Facebook page.
The group will also have a new gift shop in the visitor center and is looking for volunteers to staff it.
An information session for anyone interested in volunteering will be held March 25 at 1 p.m. at the Ida Rupp Library, Port Clinton.
