The Arts Garage to offer programming at St. John’s Oak Harbor
St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oak Harbor and The Arts Garage (TAG) of Port Clinton invite the community to a special art show and open house to announce that the church will be TAG’s newest Ottawa County location.
The free, public event will take place on Saturday, Jan. 27 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. at the church, located at 122 W. Ottawa St.
Attendees will be able to meet artists, view their work, create free mini-canvas artworks and sign up for art classes which TAG will offer at St. John’s in the spring. The event is open to adults and children of all ages.
Additionally, a community chili cook-off will be held for those who wish to showcase their cooking talents. To sign up for the chili event, email your name, phone number and what type of chili to secretary@oakharborchurch.com. Prizes will be awarded in various categories such as best, spiciest, etc. Those attending the larger open house will serve as taste testers and voters. Snacks, desserts and beverages will also be provided at the event.
