Fruit Tree Clinic
The Ohio State University Extension, Wood County, is offering a Fruit Tree Clinic Saturday, March 23 from 9 a.m.-noon at Haslinger Orchards, 7404 US Route 6, Gibsonburg.
The program will educate participants on the production of fruit trees, with emphasis on insects, diseases and pruning. Information will be provided on using both organic and conventional practices.
There is no charge for the class, however, reservations are required. The class is limited to the first 40 registrations.

SWCD program on invasive species
The Wood Soil and Water Conservation District is hosting a presentation on Managing Invasive Species on March 19 at 6:30 p.m. the Wood SWCD office, 1616 E. Wooster St., Suite 32, Bowling Green.
Mark Witt and Matt Conner, ODNR Wildlife Management Consultants; and Garrett Caudill, Pheasant Forever Farm Bill Biologist, will present on controlling woody, upland, and wetland invasives on your property.
