Virtual Conservation Week
The Lucas Soil and Water Conservation District will present its first-ever Virtual Conservation Week, Oct. 25-31. Participation in the event is free and open to anyone within Lucas County and beyond.
During Virtual Conservation Week, short videos will be shared multiple times per day on the District’s Facebook page and website, www.LucasSWCD.org/VCW. Videos will cover topics such as vermicomposting, soil structure, and fall yard care. There will also be a virtual Farm Tour across Lucas County and a Community Partner Spotlight series.
Also available throughout the week will be a virtual geocache game, kids’ activities, and more. To wrap up the week, the District will share 2020 highlights and announce the winners of its “Fall” in Love with Lucas County photo
contest.
