Wright State, Ladd get NCAA win — Texas was next

The Wright State volleyball team made more history on Wednesday night, and did so in dominating fashion.

The Raiders swept Samford in three sets in the opening round of the 2020 NCAA Championship in Omaha, Nebraska to capture the first NCAA win in program history.

MAC MVP Meyer leads Falcons to NCAA tourney

The Wright State volleyball team is heading back to the NCAA Division I championship for the second straight season after the top-seeded Raiders won the final two sets and defeated No. 2 seed University of Illinois-Chicago 3-2 to claim the program’s first Horizon League tournament title.

Oak Harbor softball coach Chris Rawski’s team returned to Ottawa County after going 3-2 on a spring trip to Florida.

Since returning, they have gone 3-3 to improve to 6-5, but two of those losses came in the most important games, Sandusky Bay Conference Bay Division match-ups.
