The Fremont Speedway Hall of Fame will hold its 11th induction ceremony Saturday, June 8 with eight new members joining the hallowed halls.
Five of the inductees are deceased and all came from Fremont, Chuck Kear is from Tiffin and Dave Marko is from Genoa

During the Division III regional track meet at Tiffin Columbian’s Frost-Kalnow Stadium, Northwood senior Trinity Fowler and Woodmore junior Cole Sotak had runner-up finishes and were competing for a state title over the weekend.

During the Division II regional track meet in Lexington, Ohio, Oak Harbor senior Peyton Bloomer and Genoa senior Noah Koch came back with championships.
Both qualified for the state meet at Ohio State University’s Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium this past weekend.

YMCA of Greater Toledo is partnering with the Youth NFL Flag Football program for the Y to Y Co-Ed Flag Football leagues for ages 56, 7-8, and 9-11. The season consists of once a week practices and six games on Saturday mornings/early afternoons at various greater Toledo YMCA locations.
