Due to the State of Ohio's orders prohibiting gatherings of over 10 people because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Attica Raceway Park has canceled racing planned for May. However, thanks to cooperation from the Attica Fair Association, the track is investigating adding races later this summer.

Even though they did not get to compete this spring, two Clay seniors, Faith Ramirez-Johnson and Madisen Gladieux, will begin running college track in the fall.

Clay senior Madisen Gladieux is another athlete who did not join the Clay track program until she had a few years of high school under her belt. She started at Whitmer before transferring to Clay her junior year.

This spring, the Clay boys lacrosse team was expecting to have its best season ever in its short three-year history.
No one is saying the Eagles would have been state-ranked, but the program was trending upward. Then, the season was canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The 2020 Marathon LPGA Classic presented by Dana will be moving two weeks later to July 20 - 26 at Highland Meadows Golf Club as part of a revised LPGA schedule.
