Reservoir needed
To the editor: There is only one way to solve the problem of contaminated drinking water. We’re never going to clean the waters of Lake Erie; it would hurt too many businesses and we all know our politicians would never do this.

Wall Street is killing many local newspapers
Though lacking the size and prestige of The New York Times or The Washington Post, The Storm Lake Times is arguably just as important.

A job well done
To the editor: I would like to thank the Northwood Police Department for catching the people who demolished our car in a hit-skip that occurred at the Meijer gas station in January.
The officers did a great job.
