The Anthony Wayne Bridge last week was designated a historic civil engineering landmark during a ceremony at Middlegrounds Metropark.
The American Society of Civil Engineers Toledo Section recognized the bridge in honor of their 100th anniversary.

A Toledo woman was charged in a two-count indictment for purchasing a firearm for a convicted felon.
Taylor Elysse Corggens, 29, was charged with making a false statement during the purchase of a firearm and providing a false statement to federal agents.

The Craig Memorial Bridge in Toledo is 65 years old this year. Opened to traffic in 1957, it provided a key transportation link over the Maumee River, not just for Toledo drivers, but for thousands of motorists using this first major North-South Interstate Expressway.
