The Ohio Department of Agriculture needs help in keeping an eye out for the spotted lanternfly (SLF), an invasive insect that can cause significant damage to some plants and crops. The insect has not yet been confirmed in Ohio but has been spotted in Pennsylvania.

The Ohio Department of Agriculture is accepting grant applications for the 2020 USDA Specialty Crop Block Grant Program.
Funds from the grant are awarded to enhance the competitiveness of specialty crops, such as fruits, vegetables, tree nuts, horticulture and nursery crops.
