The Village of Walbridge is seeking a dismissal of a motion for summary judgment filed by Lake Township in a dispute over which jurisdiction is responsible for maintaining a stretch of Drouillard Road.

A decision to re-structure the Walbridge Police Department to include a position of sergeant was made after nearly a year of assessing the department’s strengths and weaknesses, Ed Kolanko, Walbridge mayor, said last week.
