NSG plant begins hiring

NSG Pilkington North America plans to hire about 150 employees for its new facility near the Village of Luckey.
Maintenance personnel and production operators will be hired, the company said last week.
The maintenance positions require an associate degree or higher and the starting wage is $29-$31 per hour. Ten or 12-hour shifts with a four-week rotation are planned,
The production positions require a high school diploma or higher. The starting pay is $15.50-$22.50 based on additional skills.
Twelve-hour shifts are planned.
The benefits package includes medical coverage, 401-K plans, paid vacation and tuition reimbursement.

Store opening
Life is a Holiday, a Halloween and Christmas decoration store, is opening Sept 5 at 2592 Woodville Rd., Northwood.
Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The first 25 customers will receive a free gift and those wearing a Halloween costume will receive a treat.
