Virginia Miller
Virginia Miller, 92, formerly of Curtice, Ohio, passed away on Sept. 7 2023 in Fleming Island Florida with family by her side. Special thanks to Spring Gardens of Fleming Island for the great care and love given to her over the past 2 1/2 years.
Virginia was born on May 24, 1931 to Redmond and Sarah Wade in Huntington, West Virginia.
She married her husband Billy M. Miller on December 20, 1949. Together they had 4 boys and eventually ended up in Curtice, Ohio.
Virginia was employed by Oregon City School system where she drove the handicap bus from 1971-1974. She then worked as a custodian at Clay High School from 1974-1995. She was a member of the Lady Bugs Women’s Auxiliary for Jerusalem Township Fire Dept. She was a member of the Bono Baptist Church and also played softball for the church team.
After the passing of her husband, she relocated to Jacksonville, Florida in 1997. Virginia became a member of The Church at Argyle. She always enjoyed her Tuesday night card games with the girls.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Billy M Miller and granddaughter Tabatha Cascadden.
She is survived by her four boys, Bruce (Jodie), David (Terry), Daniel (JoAnn), Paul (Kelly) and 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will be attending church service at Bono Baptist Church in Martin, Ohio. on Sunday October 8th at 10:30am with a eulogy following. Everyone is welcomed.
