Roth named Pitcher of the Week

        Siena Heights University senior Tristan Roth (Woodmore)) was selected the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference baseball pitcher of the week.
        Roth, a 5-foot-10 right hander, gave the Saints the first win of the season against Warner (Fla.) during the team's spring training in Lake Wales, Florida. He pitched seven innings on the mound only allowing three hits and struck out seven batters in the 2-0 shutout victory. This is the first WHAC pitcher of the week award of Roth's collegiate career.
        As a junior, Roth appeared in 11 games, making nine starts. He pitched 63.2 innings with 50 strikeouts and finished the season with a 3.39 ERA. As a sophomore, he appeared in 16 games, making 13 starts, pitching 66.1 innings with 48 strikeouts. As a freshman at Siena, he played in 17 games, pitching 31 innings with 21 strikeouts.
        Roth is majoring in mechanical engineering and is the son of Tom and Kori Roth.
