ProMedica Bay Park hosts donation drive for Oakdale Elementary

        ProMedica Bay Park Hospital recently celebrated the start of college football season with a school supply donation drive for Oakdale Elementary School in East Toledo.
        “With all the excitement around the return of fall and the Ohio State v. Notre Dame game, our Bay Park Hospital team wanted to celebrate.” said Brooke Estep, vice president of patient care services at ProMedica Bay Park Hospital.
        “As a fixture in the community for the past 20 years we continually look for opportunities to partner with local organizations and could not think of a better way to celebrate than to team up with Oakdale Elementary on a school supply drive.”
        Staff voted on which team they predicted to win the football game by donating supplies and other necessities in their team’s bucket. The drive successfully brought in backpacks, folders, crayons, markers and other supplies.
        The Ohio State team bucket was overflowing with school supplies as the football team triumphed. The ProMedica Bay Park Hospital staff celebrated with chocolate and peanut better buckeye treats.
