Lake junior graduates from Owens with dual major
Lake High School junior Jennifer Rhodes, of Millbury, graduated magna cum laude from Owens Community College with a dual major, earning Associate of Science and Associate of Arts degrees.
Rhodes has been a College Credit Plus student at Lake since she was in eighth grade. She is in the process of pursuing a pre-health biology major at Bowling Green State University and hopes to be an orthodontist one day. With a passion for chemistry and biology, she encourages other young women to also pursue STEM opportunities. In her free time she likes to read, create graphic novels, bake, play piano and spend time with friends and family.
She is also a member and pianist at her church, Nation Gospel Tabernacle of Oregon, where she also helps serve meals and volunteers for anything else needed.
