Fourth-grade students in Jherilyn Tuttle’s class at Lake Elementary recently brought their learning to life, creating 3-D dioramas of various landforms they have been learning about in science.
The fourth-graders were tasked to create the dioramas using a shoe box and any supplies they chose. Using their supplies and their creativity, the students exceeded expectations, creating models of oceans, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, mountains, volcanoes and valleys, to name a few.
They then presented their dioramas, along with a formal report to their classmates, sharing how the landforms are formed, information about famous landforms and interesting facts about their landforms.
