Jose Luis Mendoza

Jose Luis Mendoza, age 83, of Oregon, Ohio passed away June 5, 2022, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Jose was born in Mercedes, Texas on October 26, 1938, to the late  Manuel and Adelina (Castro) Mendoza. He retired from Chrysler after over 30 years of service. Jose loved spending time with his family, riding his motorcycle, and listening to country-western music.

Joe is survived by his loving wife of 63 years; Margaret, five daughters; Nickie Mendoza, Veronica (Dan) Heuring, Tori (John Kosztak) Mendoza, Paula (Dennis Prebe) Mendoza, and Jennifer (Albert) Sanchez, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother; Gilbert, and sisters; Guadalupe, Tomasa, Lydia, and Esperanza.

Freck Funeral Chapel assisted the family with arrangements followed by entombment at Restlawn Memorial Park.
