Frank Warren Naumann "Butch"

Frank Warren Naumann, 82, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, August 22, 2021. Frank was born July 7, 1939 in Toledo, Ohio to George and Dorothy (Harding) Naumann. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1963-1965. For over 30 years, Frank was employed as an assembler with AP Parts and was a proud member of the UAW. He was a lifelong fisherman, known by many as the “Fishing Fool”. Frank was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church where he was an usher and greeter for many years.

Frank is survived by his wife of 25 years, Marlene; children, Natalie (Andy) Fetter, Sherie (Rich) Sands, Bryan Middaugh, Kevin Middaugh, and Tammy Simkus; 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Shirley Shiple, Mike (Robin) Nauman, Margaret “Sis” Cornwell, and Ruth (Lou) Henissee; along with many loving family members and the many fishing buddies “Capitan Frank” took fishing. Preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Carol Zapiecki, Ed Nauman, Jerry Naumann, Steve Nauman, and Bill Nauman.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 2:00 pm – 8:00pm. Funeral services will begin Friday, August 27, 2021 at 9:45 am with prayers in the funeral home and proceed to Epiphany of the Lord Parish – St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 729 White Street, Toledo for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Interment: Restlawn Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Flag City Honor Flight, Oregon Fire & Rescue Department or Promedica Ebeid Hospice.
