Fall fishing

Phil Hartbarger, Toledo, displays one of the two yellow perch he caught at Maumee Bay State Park. A semi-retired meat cutter, Hartbarger says he has worked as a butcher at the old McCorkels in Oregon, Centre Supermarket, Meijer and now at Broadway Foods in South Toledo. “Yes, I will be filleting my own fish,” laughed Hartbarger.
