It was a fun twist on “Take Me Out to the Ball Game.”
Last month, Beth and Scott Jaegly, of Jerusalem Township, invited more than 30 friends and family members to join them at Fifth Third Field as the Toledo Mud Hens took on the Indianapolis Indians on June 6.
To add to the fun, the couple loaned their guests game-worn Mud Hens jerseys the couple had acquired over the years through charity auctions, etc.
To add a higher purpose to the party, Beth organized a prize raffle among the guests, raising $400 for Family House Toledo.
The couple thanked the local businesses who donated prizes for their raffle, including Mel-O-Creme, McDonald's (Oregon location), Oregon Inn, Libbey Glass Factory Outlet, The Blarney, Buffalo Wild Wings (Oregon location), Crazy Lady Salon, Expresso Car Wash, Sundance Kid Drive-in, Marco's Pizza, Smokey's BBQ Roadhouse, Tireman, Eagle’s Landing, Mancino’s (Oregon location), Glass City Federal Credit Union, Eggleston Meinert & Pavley funeral home, PizzaPapalis, Sonic (Oregon location), Tractor Supply Co. (Oregon location), Hoeflinger-Shank funeral home and the Mud Hens/Walleye.
