Cindy L. Harder

Cindy L. Harder, 66 of Oak Harbor, OH died Monday, October 31, 2022 at Mercy- St. Anne Hospital, Toledo, OH under Hospice Care. She was born January 7, 1956 in Toledo, OH to the late Don Henry Harder and the late Shirley Mae (Schiller) Crennan. She was a 1974 graduate of Port Clinton High School. She worked over 30 years for Press Publications in Millbury, OH. Cindy was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor where she was an active member serving in the Senior Choir and Church Council.

Cindy was truly a light for everyone. Her pleasant personality and kind spirit made it a joy for everyone to be around. Having no children of her own, she was very much a comfort to many especially those in her family. Her faith in God was projected toward others in such a way that she knew that her life was worth living because Jesus lived in her.

Survivors include her brother Lynn (Doris) Harder; sister Jan (Keith) Cultice; half-sister Kay (Aaron) Wiedmann; half-brothers Darin (Ruth) Harder & Dan Ellithorpe; step-brother Lynn (Denise) DeTray; step-sister Dawn Huth; many nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brother Lee Harder; step-mother Peggy (Smith) Harder, and step-brother Clarence DeTray.

Visitation will be Thursday from 2-8pm at the Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor. Funeral Services will begin at 11am Friday, November 4, 2022 at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor. Interment will be in Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor at a later date.
