Chris J. Munson

Chris J. Munson, 67, of Millbury, Ohio, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021.  Chris was born July 1, 1953 in Toledo, Ohio to Jerry and Maryann (Hughes) Munson.  In 1971, he graduated from Rogers High School.  For over 30 years as a truck driver for various companies, Chris was a fuel transport driver recently retired from Great Lakes Petroleum.  On November 1, 1991, he married the love of his life, Petra Whiteman.  He enjoyed flying radio control airplanes as a long member of the Recker R/C Club along with golf, Detroit Tigers, watching every Rams game, going to sprint car races, NASCAR, fishing, tending to his yard and ponds and many weekends cutting and splitting firewood with Petra.  His true love was spending time with his family and friends.

Chris is survived by his wife of 29 years, Petra; mother, Maryann Fisher; siblings, Belinda (Don) Burgbacher, Diane (Tony) Pistilli, Tom (Pam) Munson, step-sister Lisa (Greg) Martin, step-brother Jeff (Nancy) Fisher; brother-in-law, Gary Whiteman, mother-in-law Edie Whiteman and many wonderful nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by his father Jerry and brother, Steven Munson, step-father John Fisher and father-in-law Ken Whiteman.
