Charles "Chuck" W. Stelnicki

Charles “Chuck” W. Stelnicki, 74, of Genoa, Ohio, died Saturday January 18, 2020 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan, after a lingering illness due to Agent Orange used in Vietnam.  He was born in Toledo, Ohio, on March 18, 1945, the son of John and Helena (Lewendowski) Stelnicki.  Chuck married Marlene M. Tolman in Toledo on September 4, 1965 and she survives.
 
Chuck and his wife Marlene owned and operated Chuck’s Unicorn Florist in Genoa for 32 years, until their retirement in the fall of 2019.  Chuck was a U.S. Navy Seabee Veteran, serving in the Vietnam War.  He was awarded the Bronze Star for his service.  Good health was always important to Chuck.  He loved to work out, swim, work outside in his yard and eat healthy, all activities he and Marlene shared.  Chuck was a fantastic husband and a friend to many.
Chuck is survived by his wife Marlene, brother, John Stelnicki along with cousins, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services for Chuck will be private, per his request. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.   Memorials in his name may be directed to the Ottawa County Humane Society, 2424 E.
