Carlon J. Mummert

Carlon J. Mummert, age 86, of Oregon, Ohio passed away peaceful with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. She was born on June 17, 1936 in Pennsylvania to John W. and Reeta (Scritchfield) Carter. She enjoyed crafting and loved the Lord. Carlon was a lifetime member of First Church of the Nazarene (Hope Community Church).

Carlon is survived by her children, Debbie (Wally) Forbes, Bob (Renee) Ewing, Rick Ewing, Sue (Rick) Hymore, Ken (Shelly) Ewing, and step-children Linda (Neal) Bair, Gerald Mummert Jr. and Robin Mummert ; grandchildren Carrie (Ben) Vargas, Stacie (Harvey) Church, Brian Critch and Kayleen Ciole, Heather Hymore, John Hymore and Michelle Cattani, Rick Hymore, Cristain (Josh) Borowicz, Kenney (Kaylee) Ewing, Mike (Nicki) Jackson, Bobby Ewing Jr., Jeremy (Rachel) Ewing, William (Chris) Carroll, Danny Carroll, Kyle (Kortney) Nieckarz, Nicole (Bob) Bohland, Landon Mummert, and Travis Mummert; 28 great-granchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Mummert Sr.; her parents; and her siblings; Ronald (Sally) Carter, John (Sylvia) Carter, Francis Carter, Evelynn (Norm) Snyder, Connie (Raymond) Wilcox, Emma (Dearld) Ewing, and Ina (David) Heath.

Friends and family can visit at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon, OH, on Monday, November 14, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:30 pm with the funeral service to be held at 5:30 p.m. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
