Gibsonburg Branch Library offers a number of programs, including: “Pizza” Party Learning Kit – Pick up the April activity kit with a pizza party theme geared toward preschoolers; Virtual Adult Book Chat on Zoom, April 26, 7 p.m. – A virtual discussion of “Lillian Boxfish Takes a Walk,” by Kathleen Rooney. Luckey Food Pantry is open the last Wednesday of each month from 1-3 p.m. and the last Thursday each month from 6-8 p.m. at 247 Oak St. in the former Loft Youth Center (behind the post office). Open to families residing in the Eastwood School District.

Oak Harbor Masonic Lodge #495 19th Annual Chicken Bar-B-Que Fundraiser, April 25, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. or until sold out in the shelter house at Veterans Memorial Park. Carryouts only. Includes half-chicken, baked potato, green beans, roll, butter and brownie prepared by Bar-B-Que Traveler, Inc. $10. Proceeds go toward a college scholarship for a graduating Oak Harbor High School senior. The dinner is being conducted on a pre-sale basis; however, a limited number of meals will be available that day. Community Food Pantry at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 220 Cedar St., is open every Tues. from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and the 2nd and last Sat. of the month from 8-11 a.m. Eastwood School District residents may visit the pantry once monthly.
