Agronomic Field Day June 20

The Ohio State University Extension will present the 2019 Agronomic Field Day Thursday, June 20 from 9-11:30 a.m.at the Northwest Agricultural Research Station, 4240 Range Line Rd., Custar, Ohio.
The event is free and open to the public. Lunch will be provided by Pioneer Hybrids.
Topics for the event, which will address Lake Friendly Farming Research, include:
• “Effect of Conservation Practices on Ag Phosphorus Loss in Tile Drained Landscapes,” presented by John Fulton, OSU Extension.
• eFields Research Reports to Improve Nutrient Management,” presented by Elizabeth Hawkins, OSU Extension.
• Ultra Early Corn: Does it Have a Fit in Ohio?” presented by Peter Thomison, OSU Extension.
• Nutrient Balancing with Manure,” presented by Glen Arnold, OSU Extension.
• Soil Health Measurements: Tracking No-Till and Cover Crop Benefits to Water Quality,” presented by Ron Snyder, Wood Soil and Water Conservation District and Alan Sundermeier, OSU Extension.
