Oak Harbor to hold final fireworks fundraising efforts in June
With just over a month until the Oak Harbor Independence Day Celebration on July 3, the Oak Harbor Area Chamber of Commerce is making the final push to reach its fundraising goal to support the fireworks show this year.
Mayor Mike Seferian has announced a Navarre-Dustin-Isaac Streets Stakeholders’ meeting that will be held on Wednesday, May 18 at 8:30 a.m. in council chambers in Oregon, 5330 Seaman Rd.

Ceremony set
A Memorial Day Observance Ceremony will be held Monday, May 30 at 9 a.m. at the Clay Township Cemetery, 439 S. Opfer-Lentz Rd.

Drug Take Back Day
The Ottawa County Health Department is helping to raise awareness for National Drug Take Back Day, which will be held Saturday, April 30 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Many law enforcement agencies in Ottawa County will be participating in this initiative.
